![]() The Trojan-British history begins immediately after the Fall of Troy, and the genealogy of the ancient British kings extends all the way back to Aeneas, a prince of Troy. Painting by Francisco Collantes (1599-1656). Incredibly, it has its origins in the Trojan War. ![]() This history takes us back 1,500 years before the Saxons arrived in the island, and more than 1,000 years before the Roman occupation. This history was written by the ancient Britons and it goes back to such early times that many historians cannot believe it to be true some ridicule it because they cannot prove it to be false, and some ignore it completely. It is a neglected history and one that was expurgated from the school curriculum throughout the land in our so-called ‘modern age’. There is, however, a genuine history of Britain prior to these times. Here again, it is relatively easy for commentators to take up or continue their accounts simply by referring to the Angle and Saxon chronicles. When the Romans left Britain, the island was immediately subjected to the incursions of the Angles and the Saxons, and they became the ruling power in Britain. It is, of course, a very convenient place to start because most commentators use the writings of Caesar to help them begin their exposition. It is as if there is a big black hole in the historical record before this time and then, suddenly, we have people in the island. Please help.Whenever we think about the history of Britain, we could be mistaken in believing that this history begins with the Romans. TL DR: LEGO Pirates has a glitchy slider puzzle preventing me from accessing a Minikit. Considering that this glitch seems previously undocumented (from a brief google search), I'd like to know if any of you have experienced this or know how to remedy the situation. I've entered and exited this level several times now and am at my wit's end. TrueAchievements says that roughly 26% of players have been able to complete the game, so I've gotta be missing something here. ![]() It can't cross the path when the barricade has been moved and it certainly can't do so before it's been moved. However, it seems that, no matter what I try, I can't get the other statue past the barricade. In this way, I can only get one statue to its destination (by pushing it first, before the barricades have a chance to block its path). The issue is that these little barricades seem to leave behind invisible copies of themselves when they move. In this way, you would push one statue to its spot, then turn the wheel and push the other statue to its spot. In the way are these little orange bumps that can be switched around to block one statue and not the other with the help of a wheel. Specifically, the way this one is supposed to work is that two statues need to be pushed into green checkerboard spots. It's one of the slidey ones, where you push a couple of objects around into their proper locations. Here, a simple puzzle is all that's between you and a Minikit. In London Town (On Stranger Tides Level 1), about halfway through, there's a section where you slide down a rope across some rooftops and can walk off to the side of one and use a mermaid to break five windows to enter a room. However, I've reached a point in the 360 version where I cannot proceed with my 100% run. I've been playing LEGO games for a good bit (and trying to 100% the ones I've got), but LEGO Pirates is annoying me a bit.
